My painting is realism and impressionism in watercolour, oil, or acrylics. Subjects marine, Thames barges, with their striking sails, fishing boats, and Essex backwaters, Sussex fishing boats with their on shore moorings, landscapes of Sussex, with the familiar Oast houses, and Normandy with its amazing skies.
Have been painting over many years, with numerous One Woman exhibitions, club shows, and various art galleries around Essex and Sussex. I ran s weekly Art Group in Sussex before moving to France, and declined an Art Scholarship 'back in the day' preferring to follow my own course, I owe much to the efforts of those artists who produce great books on the subject.
