I have loved art since childhood and, from the age of eight decided I wanted to exhibit my work after seeing an Art Exhibition at a local fete. I love to capture the beauty of our changing seasons..misty woodlands, velvety blue bell woods, golden Autumn and crispy, crunchy winter scenes. I also like to recreate nostalgia with children paddling, building sandcastles. blowing bubbles etc ..generally enjoying themselves well away from mobile phones and social media!. I have been exhibiting my work in solo and group exhibitions since 1984 and have artwork in collections worldwide. A car accident in 1985 injured my back and I had to retire from my work in local government and now have very limited mobility. Although restricted movement wise I am able to paint and experiment with colours and textures and love to try out new products to see the effect they give.
