About me.
I am a painter and print maker and live in the seaside town of Whitstable in Kent. People and faces fascinate me and feature in much of my work. I use oil paint and work on a variety of surfaces including canvas, board, and traditional gesso board which I make myself from an old recipe. I love process.
The seascape and colours of the red and gold sunsets that we are luckily enough to experience here are also a huge influence upon my work.

My recent work has involved performers. My daughter is a performer and is the subject of many of my paintings.
