I am a self taught artist based in Watford. I enjoy using a variety of media to create art but my real passion is making models with polymer clay. I like to create in a 'bas relief' style using polymer clay and painting the finished result with acrylic paint or acrylic ink and some with gilding in metallic foil. My fish pictures are usually encased in Pebeo Crystal Resin to give the impression of water. My 'coin' pictures and portraits have the appearance of being made of solid metal and create a unique image and a really different type of portrait. These methods involve a number of steps to produce which is very time consuming. So, I also enjoy painting with watercolours and also using coloured pencils and ink pens. I continue to create a range of cartoons based on my past professional life and I am an active member of Watford & Bushey Art Society and a Friend of the Guild of Aviation Artists because of my lifelong interest in aircraft.
