My work often has a dramatic, theatrical quality about it. I often paint women and groups of women, where the dynamic between them plays an integral part of the composition. I sometimes paint landscapes and still life pictures, often with bold, strong shapes and colours. I enjoy working on large canvases so many of my works are on the larger side, although for practical reasons I am beginning to work smaller.
I am currently working on a series using models in a variety of situations where I intend to continue to capture an underlying erotic tension, in a subtle, sensual manner, typically with a hint of the 1940's era.
I recently had a show in Germany near Lake Constanz which was a great success, selling several pieces, one is now hanging in a museum!
