My recent work is based mainly on experimental processes. Similar to my early work, my attempts to capture light on the picture plane is still my main cause of inspiration.

My paintings have evolved from a strong interest in light and attempt to recreate this through the use of colour and pattern; allowing reverberation of the picture plane.
I am interested in the hand-made. Although executed with a pencil and ruler, paint is applied by brush without the use of masking techniques; this means that each original painting is a unique statement that contains its own imperfections.
