Welcome to my site! My work reflects an evolving search for an inventive style and a creative use of paint. There are also influences in my work from my careers in puppetry and music. My training as a docent at the Yale Art Gallery was the final synthesis and inspired my choice to paint full-time.
The dynamic presentation of color in my artwork, from a vibrant spectrum to moody hues, appeals to a wide range of clients. My work is nationally and internationally purchased and included in prestigious corporate and private collections. I am proud to have established partnerships with ADC, Art Design Consultants and Blink Art Resource in Cincinnati, OH, and Studio El Fine Art Print Publishers in Oakland, CA.

My painting influences began with my associations with Alred Tulk, Leroy Jensen, Kiki Smith and Clifford Smith. I worked as an assistant to abstract painter Alfred Tulk helping him hang exhibitions in NYC and CT. I studied life drawing with Canadian artist Leroy Jensen. Jensen was teaching the free course at Simon Frazier University in Vancouve BC. I had the good fortune to meet Kiki Smith at Goddard College while apprenticing with the Bread and Puppet theater. We went on to do puppet performances and painted murals together. The well known painter of water, Clifford Smith and I were friends and we collaborated on several projects both in painting and puppetry producing a childrens show on color that aired in PA cable television.
