Like to be known as a painter rather than an artist. My work is emotional and expressionistic capturing the moment in not more than 45 minutes to ensure I retain the spontaneity and freshness of the marks of acrylic paint on the canvas while working outside. My studio work is experimantal and abstract as I explore the ogranic reaction of acrylic and oils. Subject matter outside is seascape and landscape using oils, acrylic and water colour and in the studio abstract and the movement of birds like gannets and swans.
