Carol Wagstaff

Carol is a professional artist whose artwork encompasses conceptual abstract painting’s, in various medium’s, sculpture mostly in Bronze, photography and print. Her work is often motivated, though not exclusively, to the general state of flux that the world is in. She has been commissioned and exhibited, with museums in the UK, and in Europe,also the National Trust, and has had work selected at national and international exhibitions, such as the National Open, The Discerning Eye,and the London Biennale, Carol has also collaborated on many interior design projects, and created installation’s for corporate and private clients. She has won awards for her work at an International level.
Early works were infused with red, gold and bronze.Many of her recent work’s are earth tones often imbued with the addition of bronze and gold to emphasise certain elements.
A recent critique by Timothy Warrington, from the International confederation of Art Critics describes her work stylistically speaking as, compositions that convey a sense of timeless art, reminiscent of Byzantine imagery and inspired by her innermost sympathy for dynamic humanity that clearly represent her principal focus, purpose and commitment.
