I mostly paint colourful, happy scenes of Cornish harbours. Naive and quirky, with houses running higgledy-piggledy down to the cerulean harbour where jolly fishing boats go about their business.
Acrylic is my favoured medium for its immediacy, although I occasionally use watercolour and pastel.
When I want a change I produce landscapes. Again, they are painted in a naive style and always have people busying about. My background in illustration means that I always want to tell a story.
My paintings are positive, charming and always optimistic in their outlook, celebrating life and uplifting the soul.
I paint most days and exhibit extensively in Northamptonshire, where I live. I am a regular exhibitor with the Royal Society of Marine Artists at their annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London.
My paintings are affordable, but even if they are out of your price range, I produce limited edition prints.
