Winding stems stir and strengthen as they carve their path across the heathery knoll. Most of the weighty length stretches beneath the seemingly dainty lilac blooms and is only visible in a north-easterly breeze. Harsh gusts part the tiny flowers to show the intricate cohabitation occurring under the petalled surface. They all wave merrily in the wind, cheerfully concealing the depth of textures, their stories adding truth to the blithe array like hidden emotions welling beneath beautiful bruises.
