We have been asked to help promote another good cause by Sarah, founder of a new charity called Supershoes. They give Supershoes to seriously ill children and children living with disability. Supershoes are customised canvas shoes (usually Converse) that are designed and hand painted by voluntary professional artists.
They currently operate with a team of eight artists, that give some of their time and talent to paint Supershoes, but due to demand and our determined ambition, they are looking to build a bank of voluntary artists that may give some of their time and talent on a one off, regular or ad-hoc basis, to enable Supershoes to be available to as many children as possible. They provide the shoes, paint and information about the child; likes etc.
Although Supershoes is a national charity, ideally to start with, they are looking for artists from within 15 mile radius (or there about) to Milton Keynes, where they are based.
If you are interested in painting Supershoes Sarah would be really grateful to hear from you on [email protected]. Your support could enable them to help more seriously ill and disabled children!
