I am currently working in two different subjects- landscape and figurative. My landscape work is either plein air or from photos I take on my travels and in my home area. They are usually watercolor on paper or acrylic on canvas and range in size from 11x14in to over 24x30 in. My figurative work is usually drawn directly from life models and is mostly watercolor and pencil or charcoal and watercolor over gessoed paper. A few of my works may use collage with the figure or pastel. I look for the mood in all my subjects. The landscapes are a way to express my love of being in nature.
