My enjoyment of colour and imagination is reflected in the variety of styles I choose to paint. Some of my work is related to Mermaid myth. I love the sea and coastal views. I have recently become interested in abstract and enjoy creating depth on the canvas to emphasise shapes. My interest in drawing began when I was four and used to draw stick people and horses. Most of my early drawings were in pencil, biro, and poster paints. They were mainly of dogs horses and other animals. Later I became interested in portraits then landscape, but have always drawn fantasy pictures. I paint mainly in acrylics at the moment. I was born in Loughborough and spent some years growing up on a farm, hence my love of nature. Sometimes I exhibit my work locally, am happy to do commissions.
