My name is Margareta (Meggie) Nikolić, Meggie being my preferred choice. I have a mixed background both culturally and professionally. For many years I travelled to different parts of the world and pursued a career in science. Now my home is in Hertfordshire where I work and play. I am an artist at the same time as a university lecturer in biological sciences. This cocktail provides me with a unique view of the world and our existence within it. I preferentially work in oil, but am an instinctive painter who is happy to improvise. My paintings portray how I see the world around me; the beauty and sentimentality of our life. Each one keeps a special memory and thus has a personal meaning to me. I hope you can enjoy them too.
