Educated at Building Arts & Crafts Secondary School “Christopher Wren” West London where I achieved my “O” & “A” Levels. I was then accepted by “British Lion” based at “Shepperton Film Studios, Middlesex” and started a 5 year apprentiship within the Film Industry. Simultaneously I spent time at “Limegrove College of Art & Design” on a Block Release System to gain my “City & Guilds” and Indentures within my craft.

I have now been self employed for over 45 years working within the “International Film, TV & Theatre Industries”. My moulding and casting abilities have been seen around the world on many Blockbuster Movies such as “Star Wars” “Indiana Jones & The Temple of Doom” “Pink Panther Strikes Again” “Superman 1 and 2” “Midnight Express”, “The Shining”, “Alien”, “The Empire Strikes Back”, “Raiders of the Lost Ark”, “Dark Crystal”, “Return of the Jedi”, “Greystoke”, “The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones” “Return to Oz”, “Jewel of the Nile”, “King Kong Lives”, “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”, “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”, “Havana”, “The Fifth Element”, “Star Wars -The Beginning” /”The Phantom Menace” “The Mummy”, “Planet of the Apes “to name a few (see website). My skills are applied to most Art & Craft Departments such as Special Effects, Animatronics, Creatures, Wardrobe, Props, Stunts, Lifecasting and Sculpture for Film Sets. My film work has allowed me to see the fantasies of the past, today, tomorrow and beyond.

It was from this journey I took my skills to create my own Company “Body Sculpture” of which has inspired me to adapt my thinking, creativity and passion that has evolved throughout the years.

My Sculpture and Lifecasting is a Commission based Company interacting with the beauty of the human form with its natural curves combined with earths most natural materials to produce a sculpture with form and detail that can be hung, mounted or even placed on a plinth for your very own Sculpture. Signed, dated and recorded for your investment and its providence.

“Lifecasting” is a sculpture that is cast from a mould that is taken directly from a person’s body or couples together. The finished lifecasting is a piece of fine art that you can be proud to display in your home, office or studio. The experience of having a mould and sculpture taken of your body or that of a loved one is a unique and exciting event. A Lifecast preserves memories like no other medium you can reach out and touch in three dimensions unlike a photo or painting. We work to Private Commissions and hold open studios plus small exhibitions for viewing and purchasing my work by appointment only (over 18s please)

I am also a professional speaker at venues and functions and teach “The Art of Lifecasting” to students at Universities and Colleges and Events throughout the UK showing a live demonstration with models. I have my own “School of Lifecasting” where budding sculptors young and old are offered one to one tuition, guidance and mentoring for 1, 2, 3 & 5 day courses to develop their skills and techniques of “Lifecasting”. This tuition can also be bolted on to their existing professions.

“The past is written in the arts and artefacts of yesteryears. Without art there would be no history. Today’s art is tomorrow’s language of the future”.
