If a man works with his hands, he’s a labourer, If a man works with his hands and his head, he’s a craftsman,

If a man works with his hands, his head and his heart, he’s an artist

                                                                                                         St. Francis of Assisi

All my life I have made things. For the last 17/18 years, I have gone back to my childhood – and now I spend my time making only the things I want to make.

Every aspect of my work, from design to finished piece, is an expression of my need to give a shape to feelings, emotions and ideas.

It is equally important to me that all is done by hand, mainly using traditional methods. This historical connection with the past, is precious to me.
