Sparkling blue-green water, sugar white sand, and the magnificent shorebirds that make our nation's beaches and wetlands their home are some of Judy's favourite art subjects. Judy was asked by the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs to put on a one-person show in the Governor's Gallery which is located in the Governor's office in Tallahassee, Florida. The 19 painting exhibit, which was titled "Florida Natives at Their Best", was displayed in the Gallery for three months. The Governor was so taken with her painting of a manatee that he requested it be moved to his private working office. She was selected as one of six Florida artists to design & paint an ornament for the National Christmas Tree in the Blue Room at the White House and attend a special Christmas reception hosted by the First Lady, Laura Bush. One of her collectors is Jonathan (Jack) Westervelt Warner of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, who is a world-wide art collector. Mr. Warner owns two of the largest art collections in the world. She continues to paint that which she loves and exhibits at major art festivals throughout the South. The original paintings and giclee' prints of those originals are available through her website at www.originalsinoil.com.
