I spend my time between England and Spain. I have lived in Brussels, Paris, New York, as well as London and take inspiration from my everyday surroundings, capturing each city’s ambiance and hustle. My interest in painting, the use of colour and balance, began in my youth and has run with me throughout my life. I have always seen myself as an abstract painter, but have gradually become even more abstract as I attempt to introduce balance of colour and form into my interpretation of a particular subject. I have worked in oil but am currently turning more and more towards acrylic as an easier medium when working outside.
