After completing my training at The Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, I worked professionally for many years in theatre and television sculpting props and painting sets. I later trained at Stafford Art College in traditional figurative sculpture. I continue to work occasionally in television prop and scene departments (recent projects include making props for BBC's In The Night Garden), however I now specialise in portrait and figurative sculpture from my studio in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
Work is cast into either resin or bronze depending on budget.
I have been commissioned to sculpt famous names including The late gardener Percy Thrower, Linda McCartney, The Daily Mirror's Andy Capp, The Queen Mother and Steeplejack Fred Dibnah,Biologist Alfred Russell Wallace , Scottish architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the Astronomer Sir Patrick Moore.
