I am an Irish stained glass artist producing bright and colourful artwork, based in Pepperstock on the Luton Hoo Estate in Bedfordshire. On leaving school at the age of 14 I undertook a 7 year colour printer apprenticeship. When qualified I was running Hydelberg Cylinder machines producing top quality magazines including Country Life and Ideal Home. At the same time I was playing professional football on a part time basis. After 10 years in the print industry I left to start my own interior design and decorating business. It wasn't long before I attended college to undertake courses in traditional stained glass and continued with this as a hobby for many years. I have now finally set up my own studio and I am working fulltime on producing abstract and traditional stained glass art. Not only do I enjoy working on traditional pieces but I am inspired by cubism and art deco.
