I live and work in Yorkshire with my studio being on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. Inspiration for my paintings is all around me, old farmhouses, nostalgic old vehicles and my love of the working dog, the English Springer Spaniel and the wonderful Border Collie. All these factors putting stories into my head which I then place into my paintings.
For over twenty years I have painted in watercolour, my paintings selling around the world. Today I paint mainly in oils which I now have great feel for, achieving more with this medium for what I wish to say in my artwork.
The greatest feeling is when someone smiles when viewing my work, they through this grin or smile letting me know they have seen the story I have told in my painting.
