I am retired from the construction business. I had a very successful siding business in California. I now am devoting my talents to using wood as my medium, combining Southwestern paintings, and carvings. Most of my art have designs or figures that are cut out of the wood. Some are figures of people, others are windows or doors in buildings, or even locomotive trains. What I use to do my art is not typical. Since I am using wood as my medium I use a skill saw to make the mountain terrain and I use a jig saw to make the cutouts. I have never seen anyone use these tools in this manner, especially to make art. I have two pictures in an art gallery in Staten Island New York. I also, this last weekend was selected to be in a jury decision art walk in Hays, Kansas. You can find my work in Facebook and on New York Artists Online under other media.
