I am a 'pen and ink' illustrator, mainly producing simple monochrome drawings in black and white. My art is a mixture of real places and people with illustrative humour and an element of fantasy. I trained as a commercial artist but now that I'm retired I call myself "an escaped commercial artist" because now I can do what ever I want! Ballet has influenced my figure drawing and reading science fiction has sent me into the realms of the surreal.
