Hi, I am a painter with strong drawing skills and I am currently working on a series of large closeup realistic scenes from nature, landscape with forest, bog, and water which end up appearing very abstract and complex. These paintings are contemporary with bright glowing colours of gold, yellow, blue and green. The technique involves using a strong black and white (grisaille) drawing creating drama then over painting using ink, acrylic and oil paint in a mostly transparent manner. These paintings currently range in size from 36" square to 30" x 60". I consider these studies for large paintings and they are available in larger sizes by commission.
