jeanne-marie willems-oliver

I am a figurative fine-artist, specializing in portraits and also painting landscapes, seascapes, sunsets and flowers in rich colours, red, yellow, and blue. I undertake commissions from life or from photographs and work in oils, watercolours, pencil, and pastels. I also sketch and paint portraits of animals.

Initially qualified as a fashion designer, over the years I moved over to fine art, studying at The Willems Fine Art Academy in Prestatyn under my father, an internationally renowned Portrait artist, for 12 years.

Since 2010, I have participated in the annual Helfa Gelf “Open Studio” event, whereby artists in North Wales open their studios to the public at weekends each September.

In February 2015 I had an exhibition again at Glan Clwyd Hospital, Bodelwyddan North Wales, .

I have sold paintings in different countries and prints in Edmonton, Canada.

Most of my work is for sale, and prints of all of my works are also available, in A4 or A3 size. I sell cards of my work and produce calendars.

One of my passions is to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, through the selling of cards!

A company called ‘’ approached me to become one of their designers, thus I have some of my paintings printed on scarves, tops, tote bags and pillows/cushions.
