I’m a professional “listed” artist based in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom with nearly 30 years experience in the visual arts. I have run my own visual arts business for 15 years with 6 & half years experience teaching art at Tim’s Art Supplies in Hitchin and for art societies affiliated with The Society for All Artists. I have been a Founder Member and Professional Associate of the SAA since 1992. I’m also a member of The Design and Artist Copyright Society. I’ve been involved in many arts projects, held numerous group and solo shows, with my work in corporate and private collections across the globe. I was initially trained as a specialist in acrylic painting and pastels creating traditional and photo realist images of landscapes, still life and floral subjects. At this present time I am concentrating mainly on mixed media/collage images. I draw a huge influence from fabric design, graphic design, pop art and retro advertising imagery. My favourite artists include James Rosenquist, Bridget Riley, David Hockney, Mirium Wosk and Sir Peter Blake.

On the 20th and 21st June 2015 I was Artist in Residence for Rhythms of the World music festival in Hitchin, Herts. During that event I created a mixed media artwork entitled “The Spirit of Rhythms” which subsequently went onto a ROTW art exhibition during Bucklesbury Day in Hitchin town centre. The original artwork and very limited edition signed prints were (and still are) for sale with all proceeds going to ROTW Outreach program.

I recently was involved in a commission to design sleeves for a CD album cover for the band Polkabilly Circus, which has now been released and available for purchase. My images are in the central sleeve and the back sleeve (Punk’d Smart Dodgems Bumper Car in racing green!). Check it out if you get a chance.
