I am an artist based in Sofia, Bulgaria. I am exhibiting a large range of portraits, figurative paintings and landscapes. I like to express the focal point with defined details but with loose brush strokes in the background for the portraits and figures. For the landscapes I choose combinations of tightly applied vivid colours for the light areas and slight brush strokes in the dark areas to keep their transparency. I use oil for my paintings because I think that is the most manipulable medium which makes many techniques possible. I paint a lot of commissions but I also have original works for sale .
