Elizabeth April Sadler

Apart from an Art ‘A’ level, I am self-taught. I have loved to paint throughout my life on a daily basis and thrive on exploring new techniques and subjects.
Botanical illustration, land and seascapes, marine life, architectural work…all in watercolor with an emphasis on fine detail

I graduated with an LLB honors Law degree in London, 1979-82, where I spent a lot of time in galleries and attending expos.

Emigrating to Seychelles in 1983 I had my first one-man expo of botanical work at Alliance Francais in 1985.
I ran my own galleries on the island and exhibited weekly in many of the top hotels.
I have also sold in Liberty’s, London in 1986, at a Parallax Art Fair in Chelsea, London 2016 as well as in a Paris Gallery in the 90’s
I have had many patrons from various Arab State Royal Families as well as extensive sales worldwide.
Recently my work has inspired a large glass mural for the newly opened Hilton Resort in Seychelles.
I returned to live in the Fens again in 2014 and draw inspiration from my many walks and travels abroad.
My intention to explore oil painting became a reality when I broke my right wrist earlier this year forcing me to paint with my left hand….an evolving experience.
