I design and weave handwoven tapestry using traditional tapestry techniques. My work focuses on women in large and small formats and has evolved from mostly faces to figures and parts of figures. I do weave the occasional male figure or animal. My style is contemporary and colors range from bright to subdued. I am currently working on a series of 3D life-size wearable corsets which are part of my Burlesque series. Also in the series are "portraits" of dancers. The colors in the Burlesque series tend toward bright blues, purples and reds with a note of some more subdued colors.
